Chen Xie

Chen is a PhD student in HEAD Lab at the Dyson School of Design Engineering. Her research focuses on developing physics-informed machine learning approaches for real-time brain deformation prediction, combining high-fidelity finite element modelling with lightweight deep learning models. Her work aims to improve the accuracy, physical consistency, and reliability of brain injury assessment using wearable head kinematics.
