Dr William Dawber

Will is an expert in brain biomechanics with a keen interest in product testing and development.

He is funded by The Road Safety Trust to develop new test methods and safety ratings for children’s bicycle helmets. This creates safer helmets and helps parents make safer decisions when buying products for their children.

Will works directly within the sports, automotive, and industrial industries on producing modern solutions for human protection across a broad range of applications. He is also helping to drive safer policies for people and athletes through his roles on British Standards committees, the IMechE Sports Engineering Group, and as a consultant to multiple sports governing bodies.
